Piston - 40761600 KOLBENSCHMIDT - 06H107065BF, 06H107065BS, 06H107065CP

Complete Kolbenschmidt piston – with piston rings and stronger pin (23 mm).  With ring carrier for connecting rod. Made for 1.8 TSFI / TFI engines of CDAA, CDAB, CDHA, CDHB types. For Audi A5, Seat Toledo, Škoda Yeti or VW Passat and others.

Piston is equipped by stronger and more durable pin (23 mm.), which substitute former version with thinner diameter (21 mm). Complete pistons Kolbenshmidt are equipped by piston rings for immediate replacement. Piston rings thickness: 1,2 mm, 1,2 mm and 2 mm.

Note: This piston (OE: 06H107065CP) was used in manufacture until 2011. It was successively replaced by new piston 41197600 (OE: 06H107065DL). Pistons are identical, the only distinction are piston rings – mainly in design of the wiper seal:

• 40761600 uses 800077510000 (DSF type wiper seal – double tapered with spiral expander).
• 41197600 uses 800113810000 (SLF type wiper seal – steel lamination ring without expander).

In OE 06H107065DL replaces original 06H107065CP. Both pistons are available in aftermarket and we know from our experience, that mechanics like to change them. It can be expected, that soon there will be a new version of pistons. Some manufacturers also supply just the only one type of the rings for particular engines – regardles the date of manufacture.
