Timing chain kits are very popular in the ET Engineteam range. As you know, when repairing, it is advisable to replace all important components with new ones. At ET Engineteam you will find two new timing chain sets for BMW vehicles with engine designation N52 and N55, installed from 2008 onwards.
These sets differ in content. The smaller timing chain set RS0101, which includes slide rails, timing chain and tensioner. The large timing chain set RS0101VR1 additionally contains 2x camshaft phasers for the variable valve timing - aka VVT hub. Both camshaft phasers can also be bought separately. For the exhaust side VVT hub VT0023 and for the intake side VVT hub VT0024.
